Genzyme Japan Gears Up for Marketing of New Products

Genzyme Japan is preparing for the marketing of a series of new products led by Synvisc,an injection to relieve pain from osteoarthritis of the knee,which is likely to be launched in 2008.The Japanese subsidiary of US biotechnology company Genzyme Corp.is poised to double its number of employees over the next few years from about 130 currently to cope with the development and marketing of the new products.
