Bayer to Restructure Japanese Operations

Bayer plans to restructure,its operations in Japan by transferring them to a new pure holding company starting in 2008.While details,such as the name of the new holding company,have yet to be determined,the likelihood is that Bayer Holding Japan LLC and Tokyo-based Bayer Ltd.will be merged.The latter is the holding company for the healthcare and agrochemical businesses.
