Ajinomoto Co.has begun full-fledged operations at its new plant for pharmaceutical intermediates at Tokai (Mie Prefecture).The multipurpose plant is compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and includes a large ultralow-temperature reaction unit and a high-activity chemical-compound containment facility.
