Ube to Expand Polyimide Film Production Facilities

Ube Industries has decided to invest about ￥8 bn(70 mn)to expand the manufacturing facilities for its polyimide film,which is sold under the brand name Upilex,and for the product's raw material monomer biphenyltetracarbo-xylic dianhydride(BPDA)at its Sakai factory(Osaka Prefecture).
