Mitsubishi Rayon to Expand Output of Higher Esters in Japan,Abroad

Mitsubishi Rayon plans to expand annual output capacity of butylmeth-acrylate (BMA) at its joint venture in China from 5,000 tons to 8,000 tons.The move reflects an expected jump in demand for BMA as raw material for automotive acrylic paint.The Tokyo-based company will also seek to sell in China all the production of the joint venture;currently,about half is exported.
