The organic rubber chemicals major Kawaguchi Chemicals has secured production base in China by subcontracting manufacture of some products on an OEM basis to a Chinese plant owned by Rhein-Chemie (Germany). These products are the "Exton" series of rubber processing aids, and an annual quantity in excess of 400 tons is involved.
