Temcor, the world's largest aluminium dome builder has been contracted to supply an eleventh storage dome at what was already the world's largest covered bulk storage project.Temcor previously supplied ten large aluminum domes, each 120m in diameter, at the Formosa Plastics Group No. 6 naptha cracking complex in Mai Liao, Taiwan.With the completion of the eleventh dome, the plant's total combined storage capacity will be 1,620,000t of coal and 430,000t of salt.
