One of the biggest challenges for plant operators is upgrading their assets with minimum risk and disruption. While new plants are becoming ever larger and more complex, older plants continue to age and regulatory authorities impose ever more stringent criteria for the operating licences. The efficient execution of new-build plant projects is only made feasible by the use of 3-D design and engineering software that can handle the inherent design complexity and control the huge quantities of information generated.
