BULK HANDLING

Spans Bulk Handling Systems, the Netherlands, began developing the Enerka Becker System in 1992. In 1993, the system was patented worldwide. Since then, years of research and development have led to an enclosed belt conveyor that reduces dust and spillage to a minimum, while reaching high capacities. Spans has been licensee of the system since the beginning of 2001.The belt can be delivered in two widths, 800 and 1400mm, and different executions concerning oil, grease, wear or heat-resistance up to 80 deg C. The width of the belt is dependent on the product that has to be conveyed and the capacity that has to be achieved. The maximum capacity of the system is 750 tph, depending on the properties of the conveyed product. By using multiple drives, the tension in the belt is kept low so there is no need for a heavy tensioning construction.
