The initial aim was modest, but the result was spectacular and now mining companies around the world are investigating the power of being able to view their entire dataset in 3-D in real-time at the highest level of detail. Geo Visionary is the combination of a powerful data streaming and rendering engine with a data interface that enables geoscientists to visualise, analyse and share multiple large geoscientific datasets seamlessly in an immersive, real-time environment. Version 1.0 is capable of streaming and rendering terabytes of height and photography data, as well as various geographic and geological information layers, such as boreholes, flood analyses or land use, covering a huge area in real-time. It has also been designed in such an open way that data from industry standard software, such as ESRI, links into it easily.
