Understanding technology and technological change

Coal rilling and preparation is a multi-stage and complex process. Its structure can be defined as the arrangement of partial processes, actions and technological operations realised hrough the use of respective technical means by teams of people in a determined time and space. The mining and processing of useful minerals, including hard coal, is based on utilisation of available technical and organisational possibilities. These possibilities take specific forms, which are adapted to specific needs, and are referred to as technologies.
