摘要

The design of new coal processing plants requires the use of efficient pumps with special design. A methodology to measure correction factors for head, power and flow is in demand. A new concept of a coal froth pump was developed. It uses an open impeller with split vanes to break the air bubbles that would block flow between vanes. Horizontal pumps would also use an enlarged suction.
