Las Vegas: everybody in the world has heard of it, and for good reason. The self-styled "Entertainment Capital of the World" has built a reputation as one of the premier destinations for gambling, shopping, fine dining, theatre productions and weddings. The city attracted over 38 million visitors in 2011, including just shy of 5 million delegates attending one or more of the 19,000 conventions hosted in the city last year.
