Since its formation in 2001,the International Council on Mining & Metals (JCMM) has been at the heart ot the industry's efforts to improve environmental performance in a number of key areas.To this end,ICMM has developed an extensive work programme covering issues ranging from landscape level planning and biodiversity to integrated mine closure and rehabilitation.
