A bypass control system has been installed on two ship unloaders at Powergen's Liverpool Bulk Terminal at Gladstone Dock, UK. The system, created by J. Merriman & Sons, ensures a continued safe operation in the unlikely event of a cab travel drive failure.J. Merriman & Sons use a combination of ABB Control's contractors, switches, miniature circuit breakers and manual motor starters.
