摘要

Petcoke is an alternate fuel derived from the condensation process during the cracking of petroleum products.This highly volatile process residue contains carbon,sulphur and other metals,and provides combustion and heating values higher than coal.The use of petcoke as a fuel has been somewhat limited by environmental issues,due to high sulphur content and other contaminants polluting the atmosphere.
