Deutsche Steinkohle (DSK),the coal mining unit of RAG,plans to close two of its 10 German mines by 2007.A total of 5500 employees will lose their jobs when the two mines,one at Lohberg/Osterfeld in the Ruhr region and one at Warndt/Luisenthal in the Saarland,are shut down.
