Coal is an abundant fuel source in many parts of the world. In the US, for example, experts estimate that the country's reserves will last for at least another 200 years. Unfortunately, using coal as a uel source is problematic today, due to increased concerns over environmental issues and the high capital costs of constructing a coal-fired power plant.
