On-board weighing systems

Twenty years ago, faced with the ever-growing need for faster and more effective loading procedures, which would avoid having to turn back erratically loaded vehicles at the weighbridge, a way had to be found of carrying out on-the-spot weighing while handling. Two complementary procoedures were theoretically feasible: weighing the load in the vehicle itself, and calculating the weight in the loading machine during operation.
