Green light for Daning coal mine project

Asian American Coal, Inc. (AACI), through its joint venture company, Shanxi Asian American-Daning Energy Company, Ltd. (SAADEC), recently received its business and mining licenses from the Chinese government for development and operation of the 170 million t Daning coal mine, located in The People's Republic of China.The coal project is located near Jincheng City in China's Shanxi Province, 370 miles southwest of Beijing. SAADEC brings together an assembly of talents and technology for the purpose of successfully mining a 4.5-m-thick, premium-grade, low-sulphur coal reserve. With receipt of these liceses, the joint venture is now able to bring the Daning mine into production, which will begin later this year.
