Report meets requirements

Western Canadian Coal Corp., Canada, has announced that it has received notification from British Columbia's Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) that its 'Project Application' report regarding its Wolverine project met the appropriate requirements and has been accepted for review. This acceptance formally initiates the regulatory approval process for the Wolverine project.The Project Application report provides an extensive compilation and analysis of the environmental base-line information compiled to date, together with impact mitigation strategies in support of the proposed 1.5-2 million tpa mine development, located approximately 25km west of Tumbler Ridge.
