[Worldwide] Holcim's net sales increase

Holcim experienced a growth of 4.8% in its consolidated net sales, rising to CHF16.2 billion in the first nine months of the year. Operating EBITDA and operating profit also increased by 5.9% and 7.2%, respectively. Net income rose by 10.3% from CHF1 billion to CHF1.1 billion. These positive results have been boosted by increased demand for building materials in North America, the company's performance in emerging markets, as well as enhanced efficiency and the early results of the Holcim Leadership Journey.
