World's largest white cement kiln

CEMEX has invested EUR50.5 million in the construction of the world's largest white cement kiln at its facility in Bunol (Valencia). The capacity of the new kiln will reach 600 000 tpa of clinker, which, thanks to its purity and the characteristics of the limestone used as raw material, will ensure a white cement of the highest quality. The latest technology applied to this new white cement line will also allow a 17% improvement in the kiln's energy efficiency per t of clinker produced, with a resulting reduction in CO2 emissions.
