JK Cement plans to double capacity within five years

J K Cement Ltd is to invest Rs12 billion(US259.75 million)to double its 4 million tpa production capacity over the next 3-5 years,the company's Chief Financial Officer,A K Saraogi,said last month.The plans include two green-field sites,a 2.5-3 million tpa plant in Karnataka,Southern India,and a 1.5-2 million tpa plant near Delhi,as well as a grinding plant.
