摘要

This paper introduces a novel method to enhance the quality of bluffed images. The proposed method is based on the estimation of the multi-criteria information of the degraded images. The multi-criteria information is extracted from the distribution model and the boundaries of the input image. The actual image bluffed by an unknown distribution is correlated with predetermined reference models in order to choose the restoration filter model. The filter coefficient is then estimated using the edge information of the degraded image. Experiments have been conducted using simulated and real world images to evaluate the performance of the proposed method and the results are presented. (C) 2004 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
