USA Buzzi Unicem USA plans to more than double the capacity of its Maryneal plant

Buzzi Unicem USA has announced plans to modernise and increase capacity at its Maryneal cement plant in Texas. The expansion will include the installation of a new raw mill, preheater/precalciner kiln, a 4500 kW finish mill, in addition to the continued use of a Fives FCB Horomill? The proposed expansion project will see the plant's production capacity increase from 550 000 short tpa of cement to 1.2 million short tpa, helping the company to meet rising cement demand from the construction, oil and gas sectors in the region.
