摘要

In the modular bathroom industry, installing a quick-drying floor has become one of the biggest demands. Manufacturers have developed quick-drying technologies that include installing several drainages on the floor's surface or coating the floor with hydrophilic paints. However, each option has its shortcomings. To address this market need, we developed a hydrophilic surface treatment for fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP). Hydrophilicity is achieved by giving the FRP surface a fine texture through transfer molding-using metal. The technology marks a first in the industry.
