Pamphiliid sawflies (Hymenoptera, Pamphiliidae) from Shikoku, southwestern Japan.

A total of 22 species of four genera of the sawfly family Pamphiliidae have been found in Shikoku, southwestern Japan. They are four species of Acantholyda, one species of Neurotoma, five species of Onycholyda and 12 species of Pamphilius. New distribution records are P. ishikawai Shinohara, 1979, P. japonicus Shinohara, 1985, P. togashii Benes, 1977, and P. volatilis (Smith, 1874) from Shikoku and P. ishikawai from Hokkaido. According to the present knowledge, the Shikoku pamphiliid fauna, with no endemic species, is generally similar to those of Kyushu and central Honshu and characterized by comparatively high ratio of northern species. Sundukov and Lelej's (2009, 2012) record of P. takeuchii Benes, 1972, from Russia is erroneous.
