New distribution and host plant records for Spinarge prunivora and S. affinis (Hymenoptera, Argidae) from Japan.

Based on rearing of the larvae, Spinarge prunivora Hara and Shinohara, 2006 is recorded from Kyushu and S. affinis Hara and Shinohara, 2006 is recorded from Shikoku for the first time. Rhododendron quinquefolium Bisset et S. Moore and R. albrechtii Maxim. (Ericaceae) are newly recorded as host plants of S. affinis.
