A new species of the bamboo-inhabiting genus Lepidomyctides (Coleoptera, Curculionidae) from North Vietnam.

The third species of the baridine weevil genus Lepidomyctides is described from North Vietnam under the name, L. tonkinensis Kojima, sp. nov. This is the first representative of the genus from the country. Weevils were captured on the small bamboo and the flatsedge. A key to the species of the genus is provided.
