"Nala (?) sp." described and illustrated in "Guide to Seashore Animals of Japan, Vol. II" by SAWADA (1995) was re-examined, and it was conclusively identified with the final or pre-final instar nymph of Anisolabis maritima (BONELLI) of the family Anisolabididae. It was placed in the family Labiduridae by him. The reason is presumably the presence of the spin-like process of the second tarsal segment.
