Panasonic Configures Energy-Saving Stores with CO_2 Refrigeration Systems

Panasonic Commercial Equipment Systems is actively accelerating the uses and sales of fluorocarbon-free refrigeration systems that adopt the natural refrigerant CO_2 in supermarkets and convenience stores. CO_2 is regarded as an ideal refrigerant for state-of-the-art eco-friendly store configurations, since its ozone depletion potential (ODP) is 0, its global warming potential (GWP) is only about 1/4,000th of that of the refrigerant R404A, and it has also no flammability and toxicity.
