Synthesis and reactivity of thioaurones over the past one hundred years

摘要

The synthesis and reactivity of 2-benzylidenebenzo[b]]thiophen-3(2H)-ones (thioaurones) is comprehensively reviewed.The term thioaurone was introduced by O'Sullivan~1 as a trivial name for sulfur analogs of aurones,and referred to derivatives of 2-benzylidenebenzo[b]thiophen-3(2H)-one (1).
