摘要

Assembly of the trioxadispiroketal domain of the naturally occurring protein serine/threonine phosphatase inhibitor spirastrellolide B via a staged double intramolecular hetero-Michael addition is detailed.Spirastrellolides A and B are novel natural products isolated from extracts of the Caribbean marine sponge Spirastrella coccinea by Andersen and co-workers.These compounds were originally identified as new sponge-derived antimitotics.
