Minute amounts of 2-acetylamino-5-hydroxyhexanoic acid (1) and its succinyl derivatives (2a) and (2b) as their lactones,and 2,3-diacetoxy-2-methyl-butanolide (3) were isolated from kobutorisou,an antagonizing plant to nematode,after Ac_2O-treatment of the anti-nematode fraction of extracts of kobutorisou.
