The 16th International Congress of Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders was held in Dublin, Ireland, June 17-21 The meeting attracted approximately 4,500 attendees from 80 countries worldwide. This year's program headlined a balanced mix of therapeutic plenary sessions, teaching courses, workshops, video sessions and parallel sessions, as well as over 1,600 poster presentations. This report summarizes highlights from the conference, including data from ongoing clinical and preclinical studies on current and novel treatments for Parkinson's disease.
