Idebenone: a guide to its use in Alzheimer's disease, other age-related cognitive disorders and Friedreich's ataxia

Oral idebenone is a valuable, well tolerated and safe option for improving cognitive function and other clinical symptoms in patients with Alzheimer's disease and other age-related cognitive disorders. It has also shown some promising results in delaying the progression of neurological symptoms and cardiac hypertrophy in patients with Friedreich 's ataxia.
