ON THE ROBUST SOLUTION TO A CLASS OFPERTURBED SECOND-ORDER SYLVESTEREQUATION

This paper considers the solutions to a class of perturbed second-order Sylvesterequation. Based on the parametric solutions to the normal second-order Sylvester equa-tion, this problem of solving the perturbed second-order Sylvester equation is changed into a minimization problem with no constraints, and then a simple and effective algorithm forthis problem is proposed. An illustrative example and its simulation results show the ef-fectiveness of the proposed approach.
