CLUSTER ALGEBRAS AND QUANTUM AFFINE ALGEBRAS

Let e be the category offinite-dimensional representations of a quantum affine algebra U_q(g ) of simply laced type. We introduce certain monoidal subcategories e_e (e ∈ N) of e, and we study their Grothendieck rings using cluster algebras.
