Macrocyclic Effect in Extraction of Metals by Crown Compounds Containing Diphenyloxy Spacers

摘要

The extraction of metal salts(substrates)by crown compounds(endoreceptors)is due to the formation of host-guest supramolecular complexes,whose composition and structure are significantly affected by the spatial structure of the endoreceptor and the coordination ability of the extracted metal [1].The conformational mobility of the macrocycle(its adaptability to the guest molecule)is an important factor in the stability of resulting complexes.
