摘要

In this study, the synergistic catalytic effect of bimetallic Pt—Ru particles in the reactions involved in the processing of irradiated nuclear fuel and disposal of liquid radioactive wastes was discovered and studied for the first time. The study concerned heterogeneously catalyzed redox reactions of uranium and neptunium in various media (nitric, sulfuric, and perchloric acids) with hydrazine as the reducing agent and also hydrazine and oxalic acid decomposition in nitric acid solutions.
