摘要

One of the challenges of nanotechnology is searching for methods to produce nanosized structures on substrates by means of thermoelectrically driven transport of single atoms or atomic fluxes with the use of scanning tunnel microscopy (STM) [1—3]. The practical implementation of such a strategy requires the development of techniques to produce materials with emission—getter properties and use them for creating active probes of tunneling microscopes. Crystals with a tunnel-type structure and high mobility of interstitial cations, including crystals of vanadium oxide bronzes, are believed to be good candidates for the role of such materials.
