Portable fuel cells are intended for power supply of electronic devices that are directly applied by the user.Therefore,increased safety and environmental requirements are imposed on this group of fuel cells.The attraction of glycerol as a liquid fuel that is an alternative to hydrogen for portable fuel cells is explained by its higher environmental safety in comparison with methanol and ethylene glycol.
