摘要

The preparation of lanthanide complexes with organic ligands that luminesce in the visible region attract considerable attention owing to their use in information display systems and energy-saving technologies [1]. This is due to the fact that luminescent lanthanide complexes are phosphorescent lumino-phores, and their ligands occurring in the excited triplet state transfer the energy to the lanthanide ion, the energy being emitted from an emitting level of the lanthanide rather than the ligand. As a result, the emission bands of these compounds are more intense and much narrower (down to 10 nm) than those of organic luminophores, which allows obtaining "pure" colors.
