摘要

Decoding mRNA is a multistep process involving the RNA and protein components of the ribosome, and external factors; little is known about the mechanism, however. New evidence suggests that a central region in small ribosomal RNA switches between two helices in translation to maintain translational fidelity. [References: 21]
