摘要

Porphyrins and chlorins are important classes of biologically active substances that find wide use in the photodynamic therapy of cancer (PDT) [1] and other fields of medicine such as cardiology, immunology, dermatology, etc. [2, 3]. The introduction of a boron pharmacophore into the porphyrin macrocycle gives rise to agents with dual therapeutic effect suitable for affecting the tumor on both its exposure to red light (PDT) and thermal neutrons (boron neutron capture therapy, BNCT) [4-6].
