摘要

The unique properties of free radicals caused by the presence of an unpaired electron underlie a number of applications of these species in scientific and technological research.Stable radicals,where free valence is reliably shielded,can serve as oxidation inhibitors[1,2].Free radicals containing spatially available free valence are chemically reactive and can be used as initiators of polymerization or oxidation and in the synthesis of various compounds[3].Stable radicals are used in scientific research to study the mechanism of chemical reactions,the reactivity and structure of molecules,and as spin labels and probes[4].It is obvious that the stability,conformational isomerism,charge distribution,dipole moment,and other properties of stable radicals are very important physicochemical characteristics;the assessment and prediction of their behavior by quantum-chemical methods is of long-term importance for science and practice.
