摘要

A nonequilibrium star and a singular (equilibrium) star are basic concepts of physicochemical analysis [1]. These concepts were embedded by academician N.S. Kurnakov and further developed by V.P. Radi-shchev, N.S. Dombrovskaya, and M.M. Postnikov. Currently, these concepts fail to fully match the state of art in physicochemical analysis and need to be rethought. The considerable quantity of theoretical and experimental material at our disposal allows for a far broader treatment of the concept of a singular star including the detailed analysis of this complex three-dimensional diagram, namely, its unit cells (hexatopes, pentatopes, and tetrahedra), as a model of the chemical, thermochemical, and energy processes that occur in the system, and the properties of the singular star as a whole and of its constituents. This new approach gives an opportunity of determining the shift of exchange equilibrium and solving some important applied problems [2—5]. This work is concerned with this subject.
