In modem technology of inorganic and organic compounds, extraction holds a strong position as a method that simplifies the isolation of compounds from solutions of complex composition. Classic examples of application of the extraction method are analytical chemistry; radiochemistry; organic chemistry; separation of rare-earth elements with similar properties- niobium and tantalum, zirconium and hafnium, and tungsten and molybdenum; extraction of iron and mineral acids; and many others.
