摘要

The development of efficient methods to control polymerization processes to improve important physi-cochemical characteristics of resultant polymers is among the high priority directions of progress in mac-romoleeular chemistry. The use of methods of pseudo-living and complex-radical polymerization based on the use of special components in polymerization system (mainly metal complex compounds) is one of the most efficient and relatively low-cost approaches to solve the above problem [1—3]. A great number of studies performed recently in Russia and abroad have confirmed the promise of development of this direction and the necessity to form a library of coordination compounds useful as components for the controlled synthesis of polymers, which is undoubtedly important for the development of general fundamental theory of controlled radical polymerization.
